Hi! I’m Lauri…more commonly know as Lala, Tia Lala, La Princesa, La Prinches, La Princhespesca, La Guerita, Loti, La Guerita Princhespesca…and I happily live in a Spanglish world. I adore Jesus Christ and desire to live my life in a way that honors Him.
When I was 30, God brought a man all the way from Monterrey, Mexico to my church in Kentucky. Less than seven months later we were married. My husband’s name is Jonathan (which means “gift of God”) and that is exactly what he is to me. I thank God everyday for the blessing of being his wife. If you’d like to know our love story you can read it here. I think it’s an amazing one!
A little more about me…
In 2006, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from a place that is very near and dear to my heart -Boyce College. A little part of me will always remain on that campus because that is where God began the biggest transformation in my mind, my heart and my life. And praise His great name that He still continuing to mold me into the woman that He desires I become.
But it was at that college that He helped me begin to know His Word, learn from wiser women (older and younger than me), observe godly marriages and participate in ministry. During those few precious years at Boyce, I developed a heart for missions as well as a desire to pour into the hearts and lives of women of all ages.
In a way, I almost feel as the journey to this blog began at Boyce College because I definitely experienced Titus 2 through my precious friends and ladies at my church.
Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with my family, reading, writing, loom knitting, baking and decorating cupcakes. I also love to travel and learn about new cultures and languages.
I prefer hot tea over coffee, love wearing dresses, would choose pearls over statement jewelry any day, have a weakness for desserts and want to buy almost anything that has polka dots, flowers or bows!
I’m so glad you dropped by to visit me here at Titus 2 in a TextMe World! Can’t wait to see what God’s going to do on this exciting journey as we walk through this world together as women.
